One of my favorite books is a little house of my own, by Lester Walker. It has 47 grand designs for 47 tiny houses. This is the canvas house from that book which has 248 square feet. It is part of a camping resort in Maho Bay designed by architect James Hadley. These are woodframed canvas cottages linked together by a network of walkways. It would be very easy to adapt to a more permanent dwelling with the addition of a water source and outhouse. I like to think about how much space is really enough for living well.
